fakepuntonfirst is a student at UOIT taking nuclear engineering. He received a CFL football for his first birthday and immediately used the icing from his chocolate cake as eye black (okay, maybe it was smeared all over his face). He remembers cheering for the Argos as a kid because a) they were from Toronto, the home of his Maple Leafs, and b) unlike his Leafs, they won. Then came a series of summers where listening to “It Wasn’t Me”, wearing cargo pants, putting blonde streaks in his hair, and other early equally embarassing things took the time away from following the CFL.
Then one warm summer night back from university he flipped on TSN and spent the next few hours remembering how exciting it was to watch these guys miss field goals and be rewarded points, smaller players with speed run around on this HUGE field, and some damn entertaining football (both games were won with plays within the last 5 minutes).
